Our computers, communications, databases, security systems, personal and corporate connectivity, information networks – they're all intertwined into a finely woven net that envelops the planet. This has created a need for technicians who can understand, expand, maintain and repair computer electronics and networks. You can answer the call at San Jacinto College, where our program will prepare you to work in electronics, industrial computing, VOIP switching, phone PBX and a variety of other computer-related fields.
Get a Job That’s in High Demand
You can become a repair technician, network installer and tester, fiber optic installer, instrument technician, home and business security specialist, or automation technician. One thing is certain, if you have experience in computer electronics, your skills will be in high demand. The median salary for an electrical and electronics engineering technician is $62,968 per year.*
