Do you have an exciting project that will impact student success at San Jacinto College? If so, the San Jacinto College Foundation encourages you to apply for a Student Success Initiative (SSI) Grant! SSI grants provide funding for San Jacinto College faculty and staff to implement their student success projects and/or initiatives that are not funded through the regular budgetary process. These projects should have an overall goal of maintaining, increasing or expanding student success at San Jacinto College. Previous SSI-funded initiatives include the Art of Space and Science, the Houston Spanish & Flamenco Festival, the San Jacinto College Food Pantry, and the Houston Museum of Natural Science and San Jacinto College South Campus Gallery’s “Lithic” exhibition.
Are you new to creating a grant application? The Foundation office has partnered with the Office of Grants Management (OGM) Grants Development team to help guide interested SSI applicants through the proposal writing process. OGM has great resources to assist you in developing, preparing, writing, editing and reviewing your proposal.
