Funding Innovation

Employee Grants

The Student Success Initiative directly impacts students through innovation. These mini-grants are funded by the Foundation for college employees who want to make a difference in their department, in a process, in the classroom or on the campus.

How does it work? Each project should have an overall goal of maintaining, increasing or expanding student success at San Jacinto College. Previous SSI-funded initiatives include the Art of Space and Science, the Houston Spanish & Flamenco Festival, the San Jacinto College Food Pantry, and the Houston Museum of Natural Science and San Jacinto College South Campus Gallery’s “Lithic” exhibition.
