San Jacinto College is offering courses this Spring for anyone who wants to learn about basic computer skills and software commonly used in the workforce.
Courses range from weeks to months and are held at each of the three San Jacinto College campus locations. They are Workforce Solutions approved, and financial aid is available for those who qualify.
The following basic skills training courses are available for Spring 2015:
Digital Literacy IC3
Dates available: Jan. 26 to March 27 at the North Campus, March 31 to May 21 at Central Campus
MOS (Microsoft) Excel
Dates available: Feb. 9 to March 11 at the South Campus, April 28 to May 28 at the Central Campus
Dates available: Jan. 26 to Feb. 11 at the Central Campus, April 7 to 23 at the North Campus
Dates available: March 3 to April 2 a the North Campus
Dates available: Feb. 16 to March 11 at the Central Campus
Dates available: March 30 to April 22 at the South Campus, May 5 to 28 at the South Campus
The San Jacinto College Central Campus is located at 8060 Spencer Highway in Pasadena; North Campus is located at 5800 Uvalde Road in Houston; and South Campus is located at 13735 Beamer Road in Houston.
