Registration for Summer and Fall 2015 Weekend College is currently underway at San Jacinto College. Course offerings range from sociology, English composition I and II to Texas government and college algebra.
Weekend College provides an alternative option for students who work during the week or cannot take classes in the traditional format. It is a district-wide prescribed academic pathway to allow students to take classes exclusively on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and earn their Associate of Arts and transfer to the university of their choice within two years. During the first year of Weekend College at San Jacinto College, approximately 1,100 students took advantage of the alternative course schedule.
Summer Weekend College begins this Friday, May 22, and Fall Weekend College will begin on Sept. 11. To view a complete schedule and to register, visit sanjac.edu/apply-register/types-admissions/weekend-college.
