Raise Up Families Photo

Artists for Hope is a charity concert event in which all tickets sales are gifted to a chosen local charity. It is hosted by the San Jacinto College Dance Program.  Year 2020 was our fifth year producing the event.  This year, we were able to raise almost $3,000 for Raise Up Families, an organization that provides extensive case management to strengthen families and ensure childhood learning. Their goal is to empower families, providing them with resources to help avoid homelessness and give their children an uninterrupted education. Find out more about them!

This years artists included Ad Deum Dance Company, Ad Deum II, NobleMotion Dance, Open Dance Project/ODP2, Hope Stone Dance, Houston Contemporary 2, Movements in Time Dance Artistry, Group Acorde, Juxtapose Arts Collective, Pilot Dance project, the San Jacinto College Performing Arts Company, Social Movement Contemporary Dance, Southeast Dance, UH Dance Ensemble, and University of St. Thomas Dance Ensemble. We had two amazing nights of dance concerts and two full days of FREE master classes. A BIG thank you to the Houston dance community and all of our supporters!
