Continuing and Professional Development Registration Information
What you need to know
Registering for Continuing and Professional Development (CPD) courses is easy.
There are no specified registration days and we have open enrollment, so you may register for any CPD course at any time. However, students may not register any later than three business days before the course begins.
Due to the overwhelming popularity and demand of some courses, we encourage you to enroll as soon as possible as class space can be limited and tends to fill up quickly.
Unless otherwise stated in the course description, the minimum age for independent participation in our continuing education courses is 18 years.

How to Register
There are four ways to register for CPD courses at San Jacinto College:
1. In-Person Registration
Identification is required / Se require ID al Rejistrarse en persona
Visit one of our convenient locations at the following campuses to register.
North Campus: Slovacek Student Center Building,
Room N-12.212, 5800 Uvalde Road, Houston
South Campus: Administration Bldg., Room S-8.1403A,
13735 Beamer Road, Houston
2. Online Registration
Click below or on the “REGISTER NOW FOR SAN JAC CPD” button on the left-hand side of any CPD page. The links below will take you to the CPD Registration online portal.
Each course schedule will only show available classes in that instructional area. Begin the registration process by selecting the course schedule that interests you.

How to Search for Courses:
Use the Search feature at the top of the page by entering keyword for the course or a five digit CRN. Select the search icon for a list of available courses.
How to Register and Pay:
- Step 1: Select the course(s) you would like to attend by clicking on the + sign within the course box or by dragging the course box into the schedule area.
- Step 2: Select Register and you will have a chance to view the selected courses and sign a disclaimer. At this point you will be asked to sign in with your San Jacinto Student ID (G#) if not already signed in.
Note: The first time you sign in with an existing G#, select Forgot Password? to create a password and security questions for this software. Please contact the Registration office if any of your personal information, such as, address or phone number has changed. You can create an account to obtain a San Jacinto Student Id (G#) if you do not have one.
Be sure to write down the new ID and password and store in a secure place.
- Step 3: Select Proceed to payment which displays the registration confirmation. Accept the Registration Disclosure to continue.
- Step 4: Select Payment Option and Continue to complete payment.
- Step 5: Select Submit payment.
- Step 6: Process payment according to the online directions.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and web checks. Debit cards without a Visa or MasterCard logo are accepted for in-person payment only. Payment may be made in person at the campus Business Office. A Convenient Payment Plan (CPP) is available to Continuing & Professional Development (CPD) students as long as the length of the Course Section is 4 – 16 weeks. Contact your CPD registration office or the campus business office for details.
You must complete the payment process to reserve your seat in the course or you will not be registered.
When you have completed your registration, please click the Back Button to return to your CPD Homepage.

3. Telephone Registration
Call 281-542-2020 to register by phone.
Please have your personal information as well as the course you'd like to take ready when you call.
4. Fax or Email Registration
You can fax or email your completed registration form at any time. Click here for a blank registration form. Forms are processed during normal business hours. For students under 18 years of age, please fill out the Parent Waiver Form.
