Heavy Diesel Equipment / Crane Technician

If you like big engines, working with your hands, and don’t mind getting a little dirty, a career as a heavy diesel equipment / crane technician may be the job for you. Our graduates are trained to maintain and repair some of the largest construction equipment and cranes in use.

The heavy diesel equipment / crane technician program is designed to expose students to diesel engine components and hydraulics. In addition, students take electrical classes to gain experience maintaining and repairing the entire piece of equipment.
