The two-day course offered at the Edge Center will prepare students for the FAA Part 107 (Commercial Drone Pilot) test, covering material such as the basic principles of flight, laws, safety, weather, aerodynamic principles, and airspace associated with unmanned flight. The Remote Pilot Knowledge Test Prep course prepares students for the knowledge test required for FAA Certification.
Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 107.61. Per Part 107.61: Must be at least 16. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English. Classes include:

Drone Flight Operations Course ($285)
In this course, the student will learn about basic principles of flight operations, basic laws/regulations associated with unmanned flight, and factors that affect flight. Prerequisites: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 107.61 and have a FAA Part 107 license or completed the FAA part 107 test prep course.
Advanced Drone Flight Operations Course ($350)
In this course, the student will learn about advanced principles of flight operations, laws/regulations associated with unmanned flight, and factors that affect flight. This course Prerequisites: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 107.61. and have completed the FAA part 107 test prep course and the Drone Flight Operations Course.
Advanced Drone Topics Course ($335)
This course follows Advanced Flight Operations. It goes further into depth and prepares students for specialized operations with cameras, sensors, and other add-ons. This course Prerequisites: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 107.61. and have completed the FAA part 107 test prep course, Drone Flight Operations Course and the Advanced Flight Operations course.
