FAA Part 107 Knowledge Test Prep Course
This course provides an overview of the Federal Aviation Administration’s Part 107 (Commercial Drone Pilot) test. The two-day course offered at San Jacinto College's Edge Center will prepare students for the FAA Part 107 test, covering material such as the basic principles of flight, laws, safety, weather, aerodynamic principles, and airspace associated with unmanned flight. Students will be required to read material prior to class. Instructor will present overview of the material.
To legally operate a drone for any business purpose, FAA regulations require remote pilot certification. The Remote Pilot Knowledge Test Prep course prepares students for the knowledge test required for FAA Certification.
Prerequisite: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 107.61. Per Part 107.61: Must be at least 16. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.

Drone Flight Operations Course
In this course, the student will learn about basic principles of flight operations, basic laws/regulations associated with unmanned flight, and factors that affect flight. Prerequisites: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 107.61.
