The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program at San Jacinto College provides students with the training, skills, knowledge and abilities to care for patients in long-term care facilities. Students learn to provide safety and preventative measures in the care of patients as well as how to function as a member of the healthcare team.
Students are trained for entry-level employment in long-term facilities, hospitals and doctor offices through classroom time and 60 hours of clinical practice.
