San Jacinto College will be open for normal class schedules and business operations on Friday, February 28, 2020. The water main break that occurred Thursday in the City of Houston has not affected College operations.
South Campus students and employees are encouraged to bring bottled water to campus, as there will not be access to drinking fountains on campus, and a boil water notice is still in effect.

Social media is an online medium that allows individuals to come together and engage in a dynamic conversation. Social media at San Jacinto College connects, engages, and shares news about the College with faculty, staff, students, alumni, partners, and members of the online community.
This form of communication provides our employees and students with the opportunity to represent the College in the online community. In doing so, it is imperative that College representatives set a positive example by upholding the highest standards in using social media to ensure the protection of student and staff privacy. Social media guidelines also protect the image, brand, proprietary information, and resources of the higher education institution; and discourage employee and student activities that do not support the College’s mission, vision, core values, learning goals, or financial well-being when represented in social media.
