Our Support System

Beyond our employees, Board of Trustees, and Foundation Board of Directors, we are fortunate to have the incredible support of local and national elected officials, school districts, higher education partners, as well as our chambers of commerce and economic development organizations.

Elected Delegation

We are fortunate to have elected delegation who support our students, employees, and our work to strengthen the region. These individuals want to learn about our challenges and successes and invest in changing our students' lives. Our local mayors, council members, county judge, commissioners, and school district boards are great partners. We value these relationships because collaboration advances our mission.

Higher Education and ISDs

San Jacinto College works closely with area school districts to ensure their students have every opportunity to succeed here. We also partner with eight other Houston-area community colleges and institutions statewide to ensure our students transfer seamlessly to complete their bachelor's degrees and more.

Chamber and Economic Development Partners

A strong economy and strong local businesses are vital to our region's success. We proudly support and partner with chambers of commerce and economic development organizations by serving on boards and providing speakers and experts for seminars and training. Our collaboration strengthens our communities.
