Creating Community

Jose Nunez
Knowing that I can be a part of students’ success is inspirational. Introducing others to things I am passionate about, and along the way help them achieve their goals, especially those students who felt lost, as if no one was there for them, gives me that extra push.”
Jose Nunez
Chemistry Professor, San Jacinto College Excellence Award recipient, 2022

Jose Nunez is just one of our exceptional professors, and has been teaching with us since 2016. In December, 2022 he was one of 10 recipients of the College’s Excellence Awards. One of the qualities he loves most about teaching at San Jac is its community between the teachers, staff, and students.
