Lisa Brown wasn’t expecting to meet her future husband when she started her first clinical rotation at Pasadena’s Southmore Hospital.
Meet James and Jan Bishop—a true San Jac love story. The couple attended San Jac together, cheering each other on while chasing different dreams. Jan followed her passion for nursing, earning her ADN in 1987 and a nursing pin that quickly became one of her most treasured keepsakes. James took a different path, majoring in criminal justice, but their journey at San Jac was one they shared side by side.
