PASADENA, Texas – San Jacinto College recently launched a bold new advertising campaign, Be Fearless,” designed to empower students to pursue their goals with confidence. The campaign, which debuted Nov. 10 across digital, social, and traditional media platforms, highlights the College’s proven record of helping students complete degrees and certificates that lead to rewarding careers.

Recently ranked the No. 2 college in the nation by the Aspen Institute, and the top Texas community college on the Aspen Prize finalist list, San Jacinto College has built a reputation for student success and workforce excellence. The “Be Fearless” campaign reinforces this distinction by showing that at San Jac, students don’t have to face uncertainty about finishing what they start — the College has a long-standing record of guiding students to achieve their educational and career goals.

“‘Be Fearless’ embodies what we see every day at San Jacinto College — students taking bold steps toward their futures, supported by faculty and staff who are with them every step of the way,” said Amanda Fenwick, vice president of external relations. “This campaign reminds our community that they don’t have to face uncertainty alone. At San Jac, we have the experience, resources, and people to help every student succeed.”

Developed in partnership with Steel Advertising, the concept grew from extensive research into who San Jac’s audiences are and how best to reach them. The College’s marketing team collaborated closely with Steel and engaged the College community from the earliest stages of development to ensure the campaign reflects San Jac’s values and commitment to student success.

The creative direction reflects the College’s mission to remove barriers, open doors, and provide accessible, affordable, and high-quality education for all learners — from recent high school graduates to returning adults and working professionals.
