San Jacinto College will host the third annual Flock to the Block on Saturday, April 18, inviting families and community members to enjoy a free afternoon of activities, food, and campus exploration. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the College’s Central Campus.
“Flock to the Block is one of our favorite ways to open our campus to the community and create a space where families can connect, have fun, and learn more about what San Jac has to offer,” said Vershonda Williams, outreach and recruitment director. “It’s a celebration of community, access, and opportunity.”
Attendees can look forward to free food, carnival-style games, bounce houses, and other interactive activities for all ages. In addition to the festivities, the event offers an opportunity to explore San Jacinto College’s programs, services, and resources through engaging booths and hands-on exhibits.
Designed for students, parents, and local residents alike, Flock to the Block brings learning and fun together in a welcoming campus environment—making it an ideal way to spend a spring Saturday with the community.
