What is co-enrollment?

Co-enrollment means you are enrolled at two colleges or universities at the same time. Through a co-enrollment program, students will enroll at both San Jac and one of our partner universities as they work towards their associate and bachelor's degrees.

How to Co-Enroll

  1. Find Your Co-enrollment Program

    Explore all of the co-enrollment programs we offer and decide which one is your right fit.

  2. Apply to San Jac and the Partner University

    Once you've chosen your program, you will need to apply to both San Jac and the partner university that offers the program you want to co-enroll in. 

    Make sure you're aware of the partner university's admission requirements and application deadlines, as these can be different than San Jac's requirements.

  3. Enroll and Register for Courses at San Jac

    Once you've been admitted to San Jac, you can complete your enrollment. This includes submitting transcripts, new student orientation, testing (if applicable), and submitting meningitis vaccine records (if under 22).

    Finally, you can register for courses! You'll work with your
    San Jac Academic Advisor to register for your San Jac courses.

    You can begin your San Jac courses before you've been admitted to the partner university.

  4. Enroll and Register for Courses at the Partner University

    Once you've been admitted to the partner university, you can enroll and register for their courses!

Your bachelor's degree will be from the partner university. Your two-year associate degree will be from San Jacinto College. 

All the in-person classes for the university will be taken at San Jacinto College South Campus.

Any San Jac course will be charged at our rates, and any of our partner universities courses will be charged at their rates. 
Yes, you can still get financial aid. You will complete the FAFSA once for only one of the institutions. You should list both schools as recipients on the FAFSA. Your credit hours will be combined to determine your financial aid eligibility. Check out our financial aid options
All of your in-person classes for your co-enrollment degree will be taken at South Campus
