Are you a radiologic technologist who’s ready to advance your career? San Jac offers magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and mammography programs. Registered sonographers are welcome to apply for the MRI program. Be sure to check out the requirements below.
Use specialized X-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic breast images and breast tissue biopsies with this enhanced certificate program.
Before diving into your application, order transcripts from all colleges you’ve attended — including San Jac. Submit your transcripts to Admissions for evaluation and submit a PDF version with your program application.
Next, head to your account in the Secure Online System (SOS) and process and save a degree evaluation for the program you’re applying to.
Already taken a course at another institution? No problem. After submitting your official transcripts to admissions for evaluation, submit course substitute requests — including your student ID and a description of the substitute course — to the medical imaging department before applying.
If you’re looking to get credit for hands-on work experience in the medical imaging field as a registered technologist, fill out and submit a work history verification form for consideration.
Gathered your documents? Filled out your forms? Now you’re ready to apply. Submit an application between April 15 and June 1 for the Fall semester or between September 1 and October 15 for the Spring semester. You’ll be notified within two to three weeks after the application deadline.
