  1. Consult with International Student Services

    • Your current San Jacinto College program
    • Transfer objectives and questions, assisting you in developing an action plan
    • Your existing SEVIS record to assess your F-1 status and crucial dates
    Remember that dates and deadlines are of utmost importance. You have a 60-day grace period to transfer out after a semester ends. Make sure not to exceed this period, as it may result in termination of your F-1 status. To maintain F-1 status, transfer to an SEVP approved institution

    After receiving your acceptance letter, submit it to International Student Services, including your full name and San Jac student ID number (G#). An international acceptance letter is required unless the institution doesn't provide one.
