
Are you ready to enroll in the Pharmacy Technician program? Enrollment is open on a first-come, first-served basis. As long as you meet the basic requirements, you’re in! If the program fills up, no worries. You’ll be placed on a waiting list in the order we receive applications, and we’ll offer you a spot in the next admission cycle. Let's get started.
After you’ve been admitted to San Jac, follow these steps to prepare for your program.

We’re excited to have you join our program! The Pharmacy Technician program is offered
on both the North and South Campuses. Once the application deadline passes, all completed
files will be reviewed and processed. North Campus South Campus
Have questions about the program? If you will be attending the program at the South Campus, we offer information sessions
where you can speak directly to faculty and staff. Take a moment to sign up for one of our information sessions.
Now its time to apply to the program. Please only submit an application for the campus
you will be attending. If you have any questions, we're here to help. After applying for the program, please place an order on CastleBranch using the following
codes: The cost of the package is $109, but is subject to change. For more information, including a user guide and what requirements are involved in

While you wait to be admitted into the program, gather your immunization records.
Proof of the following immunizations will need to be uploaded to your CastleBranch
account after you are admitted and upon completion of your first semester in the program:
Once you're accepted to the program, you will need to register as a pharmacy technician
trainee through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy so that you can complete clinical
externships in your third, and final, semester of the program. For more information, please review our information packet.How to apply
Application Dates
The Pharmacy Technician program at North Campus accepts students once a year. We offer a full-time day program and part-time afternoon program.
The Pharmacy Tehnician program at South Campus accepts students twice a year. Application deadines are as follows:

Our program uses a third-party company called CastleBranch to perform background checks, drug screen testing, and manage all required immunization records. All applicants must buy the appropriate package for the campus they plan on attending (see step 4 above) and satisfy the following requirements before they will be accepted into the program or able to register for pharmacy tech classes:

Our Pharmacy Technician program is an Advanced Level Training Program accredited by The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). The program is also a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) recognized program.
