San Jacinto College ranked for online associate in computer science by TechGuide

PASADENA, Texas – San Jacinto College has ranked number 20 in TechGuide’s online associate in computer science list of programs. San Jac is the only college in this region and one of three Texas colleges to make this list.

TechGuide creates comprehensive, easy-to-use resources for those looking to move into the technology field. The organization sees an average of 30,000 organic visitors per month where it collaborates with expert writers and esteemed professors to produce up-to-date content and podcast.

“This recognition speaks volumes about the quality of education San Jacinto College provides to prepare our students for success in the rapidly evolving field of technology,” said Niki Whiteside, assistant vice chancellor of instructional innovation and support. “By offering high-quality online programs, we ensure accessibility and flexibility for students, allowing them to balance their academic pursuits and other commitments.”

To determine the ranking, TechGuide considering factors such as tuition, student-to-faculty ratio, admission and graduation rates, and alumni success as a part of their evaluation. They utilize data from sources such as the National Center for Education Statistics, including IPEDS and the College Navigator, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the rankings.
