Report to the Community earns silver Excalibur Award from PRSA Houston

San Jacinto College recognized for excellence in public relations

PASADENA, Texas — San Jacinto College is among the list of prestigious winners in the Public Relations Society of America Houston Chapter's 2021 Excalibur Awards.

Silver Excalibur Award

The College was awarded a Silver Excalibur Award from PRSA Houston for the 2020 Annual Report to the Community. The Excalibur Awards, held this year at the Houston Botanic Garden, honor outstanding professional accomplishments in the development and execution of comprehensive public relations programs, campaigns, and individual tactics.

"I congratulate the marketing and public relations teams for this award," said Teri Crawford, vice chancellor for external relations at the College. "So much planning, writing, designing, editing, and post-production goes into this project, and I am extremely proud of everyone involved for their continued hard work, professionalism, and dedication to promoting San Jacinto College."

The San Jacinto College report to the community highlights the annual accomplishments of students, employees, alumni, and donors, while also providing a financial snapshot of the institution and information about the San Jacinto College Foundation.
